Hey! It's been a month since I've visited Denmark for an exchange project, and I did a little shopping there as well, because the art supplies were surprisingly cheap! I bought a set of coal pencils; Soft, medium, hard, two of each, and a small sketchbook (see end of post). I started experimenting a bit and decided that it would be nice to start with a sunset, since it's summer and it's tropically warm in Holland right now. See how I did it? Stay tuned!
As already told in my last post, I would show you the books that I bought in London last week. And I am not overreacting if I say I could live in the Waterstones Bookstore because I just wanted to buy and read everything and the fact that most books would be hard to get in The Netherlands made me want to cry. But let's get on with what this post was about: The two books. (and a little shout out to my cute little plants in the top right corner).
Emojis are everywhere these days. Not only do you use them to enrich your text message, We use them to edit Instagramphotos, in our Snapchats and Youtubers all over the world are acting them out while their friends guess which one they are trying to impersonate. So why not bring this huge trend to paper? Here's a tutorial for drawing an emoji yourself, that goes beyond ;) or :D
